The truck door slammed, and Ty Roderick followed Johnny Donovan into the quiet house. “Man, I’m starved,” Johnny said, heading for the kitchen. Ty Roderick ran a hand through his dusty hair. “Johnny, bad news. I totally blanked on the grocery store. The cupboard’s pretty bare.”
Johnny Donovan sighed, leaning against the counter. “Seriously, Ty? So it’s peanut butter or a drive-thru line.” A slow, promising smile spread across Ty Roderick’s face. “Let me make it up to you.” His eyes dropped, meaningfully. Johnny Donovan watched him, the frustration from the job site melting into a different kind of heat. “Yeah? What’s on the menu then, Ty?”
“Me,” Ty Roderick said, his voice low.
Johnny didn’t need convincing. He closed the distance, his mouth finding Ty Roderick’s. Lunch was forgotten. Clothes hit the floor. Soon, Ty Roderick was on his knees for Johnny Donovan, and Johnny Donovan returned the favor with hungry enthusiasm. Then Ty Roderick’s hands were on Johnny Donovan’s hips, his tongue tracing a path lower before he pressed inside, bare and wanting, turning the afternoon break into something they’d never forget.
